My mam Anne Hornby was born on the 1st of august 1955 in Leeds. she sadly died on the 14th of may
2008 after a long battle with the drink.I would just like to thank everyone who came to pay their
last respects to my mam on friday and for all the beautiful flowers.The collection raised over
£250, it was for icu at st james but iv decided to give £100 to the Together women project that
looked after my mam and gave her lots of help and guidance.THANKYOU TWP
she grew up on Stratford Terrace then moved to a bigger house on Lodge
Lane, Beeston. Daughter of the late Lesley and Lillian Hornby. She was part of a very large family
with 3 sisters and 5 brothers, one of which passed away in 1987. she moved to Clovelly Row with me
when i was just 2 years old. she started out working at cdk foods then went on to clean at the
rowland road wmc just opposite our house.She didnt have much of a social life,she prefered to stay
in and look after me.

lIm so sorry to hear of youre mams death ,l was good friends with youre mam,l lived in the brompton,youre mam lived at the top street at her mam dads youre mam was a lovley person we had some good laughs,a shy person ,l liked youre mam she had lovley long hair,we used to chat for hours,lde left the area when you were born, we lost contact,so sad all my love to you, xxx
